"Help rendered to the poor and needy in time is the real service to humanity"
The Government of Andhra Pradesh is extending a helping hand to the poorest of the poor who are in distress due to such reasons as :
- Health problems which require expensive medicare
- Loss of life of kin & kith
- Loss of properties and sources of livelihood due to unforeseen incidents such as natural calamities road accidents, fire accidents etc.
Chief Minister's Appeal :
Chief Minister has issued an appeal for generous contribution to the CMRF to help the poor and the needy who are in distress due to health problems which require expensive medicare and who lost their kin & kith and sources of livelihood due to natural calamities. Contribute generously to the "Chief Minister's Relief Fund"
Presently, on an average an amount of Rs. 20 lakhs Approx. is being sanctioned per day towards CMRF. After streamlining the petitions to be received from districts, it may reach even Rs. 30 lakhs per day i.e., around Rs. 100 crores per annum. So, the government needs a minimum of Rs. 100 crores per annum to sustain this programme.
